Gen. Superintendent’s New-Year’s Prayer!
Thank youfor saving us and grouping us together as your church. Thank you also for calling us together in the Assemblies of God for a specific mission on earth - to be a pentecostal body of believers and churches to serve you and your purposes in missions and evangelism. Thank you for counting us worthy and putting us in the ministry.We look forward to your days for us. With great resolve, we want to obey you. Bless your people here, with power, purity and unity in the Holy Spirit. Bless your churches with greater opportunities for growth and expansion. Bless your ministers with wisdom and intensity of the Spirit. Bless our families with love, hope, peace and prosperity. Bless our young people with courage and integrity to live their lives for you. Forgive our trespasses, cleanse us from all sins. Take away our tendency to compete and segregate. Transform us into becoming strong partners instead of rivals. Make usa strong movement again, passionate for the lost, passionate for your glory. Revive your work in the midst of the years. Purge us, yes, but also empower us. Give us revivals in our churches that will overflow to our communities and transform our nation. Help usto be faithful in testings and humble in blessings. Help us to have ears to listen to you, and make us relevant. Make us leaders who will do justly, love mercy and walk humbly before you. Pour out a miracle of provisions on every endeavor of your people. Give us the spirit of excellence in all we do. Make us daring and adventurous in faith - unafraid.
